I really did not watch or find myself drawn to this reality show. I have played guitar and sung lead in a few bands and I know this is a tough life. A TV show can give a band or individual good exposure but a dedicated drive to develop your talent must be present.

P.Diddy Chose Ness and Babs Which is cool.I feel if Fred didn't quit he could have been in the mix. Ness is a lyrical monsta. Babs flow is gutta its so Brooklyn. Fred is Grimmy he got a ill flow. Sarah got a good voice its just that she can't really cope well wit the group. Chopper he alright his lyrics is wack but its exciting. Dylan nice if u listen to what he sayin u can't sleep on him. Much luv 2 Da band members

Well first off let me start out by saying I am a big fan of P.Diddy I love him SOOO much he is SOOO fine. Ok now that I got that out of the way, Sarah, you are a great person all in all, it seems as if you have a GREAT personality and your a great peoples person, you know how to communicate without causing major problems, but yet and still you let other people get to you and bring you down, you have a great spirit and personalitiy, your beautiful on the inside and out, keep doing ya thang girl! Bab's, girl you are wonderful! you are to much, you express your feelings wether people like it or not! thats how you gotta be now days, you have high, very high self esteem, and you dont let nobody bring it down, you straight gangsta, gutta, all that, but your also pretty! keep doin you gurl!! Choppa come on now choppa... we all know that you are cute, you are very cool, and got a cool kickin it type of attitude, but your childish! you was put in a grown up place and it's been time for you to ac... I think the Band has yet to have formed a strong bond as it should have. They are not supportive of one another. In terms of Dylan, I think that everyone deserves a second chance. No one should expect him to miss court to perform a concert. That's highly understandable. I truly hope that P. Diddy gives him a second chance. It seems as though everyone gets big headed, after he or she has fame, money, or power. Reading some of P. Diddy's history, I understand that he was cut from a record company b/c his head was too big. I guess he should be able to relate to Dylan. Everyone is not as strong and determined, as he was in terms of continuing to pursue his or her dream after failure. I truly believed in and prayed for Dylan to do a 360 degree turnaround. I have a troubled brother, who I refuse to give up on. I just hope P. Diddy gives him some tough love and keeps him in the Band. I hate to see him go to jail. I believe The Band will keep him out of trouble. I am a fan of hi... Read more

heyo, i think this band is definitely disfunctional, but iz like a family. I mean, my family don't flow easy all da time, so if Diddy treated them any different, and if they didn't fight, I'd say it was a waste of TV time. The biggest prollem i have with the band is Ness. he think he God or something, he too big for his britches - and Chopper can get REAL annoying. Only reason i watch it is for my baby Frederick(he's beautiful) I luv it when he suck his thumb. I think in the end, they'll make for a good band if they quit acting like they still live Street life. they need 2 quit fighting, because if they throw this all away, I kno they'll regret it. but i also know if they screw things up, there'll be another Making the Band, and I'ma be in it 2 win it, u kno?

I think puffy should not let more people come back in the band because the people who he walk to get him a cheesecake did all the work he should let them get brakes some times!!! If he sighs a nother group he better make them do all the things he made the other group do!!!

I'm tired of bands that are just put together with other people writing their songs and directing their every move. Give me bands that play in small clubs for five years, write their own music and finally get a break. These bands have earned the right to be popular.

I think this show was great, because it shows how hard life is. These guys went through a lot of crap to get this far, and it was worth it, because they totally rock. And i just wanna say for people who have nothing better to do then come on sites and diss o-town-- if you don't like them, then don't come on their sites. Its as simple as that. You don't have to like them or listen to their music... but theres no point in coming onto their sites just to put them down(especially when they rock no matter what y'all say!). Aside from the fact of them being five of the hottest, sweetest, and nicest guys in the world.. they are also five of the most talented guys. They work so hard, and get along with each other so well(and just cuz they hug each other, doesn't mean they're gay). They have such strong musical passions and are so dedicated to making awesome music. I'll suppost these guys 'til the end. GO O-TOWN! ~*O-town 4-ever and Alwayz*~

I really enjoyed watching Making the Band because I got to see how difficult the life is. I know they are just another boy band, but O-Town is diffrent then all the others. People actually got to see the process of picking the eight and then the final five out of thousands of guys who showed up. It showed people what the music industry was looking for in new young talent.

Ok-everyone says they are manufactured. I agree with this. We all watched them get put together on ABC. I think everyone has a history. Every group, whether it is a boy band group or not, has a story on how they became where and who they are today. They are criticized for not having to go through the struggles. It's not like they just walked up and got chosen. They applied, auditioned, etc. just like everyone does in this world for a job. This is what it is for them-a job. They do have a history, it might be different from those stuggling groups that are doing well now, but they do have tribulations they have faced over this past year and a half and have sweated/cried to cheering/smiling. If they like what they are doing, that's awesome. A lot of people don't get a chance to do what they love to do, and go into something else just for the money. If you don't like them, don't judge and criticize. You don't have to listen to their music or look them up online. However, if y... Read more

The reason i say it is good is because it shows how hard it is to break into this business. NO MATTER WHO YOU ARE,everyone has to deal with producers and manager and they all have to dasel with the behind the scene stuff that happens in music. I think it shows that it's not jsut getting up and singing but that it takes a whole lot of people to maek a BACKSTREET BOYS GROUP OR NSYNC. despite what all you boy band haters think the BSB, NYSYNC AND OTWON have had just as much trouble getting to the top then soemone like PEARLJAM. They all had to go the same root. So stop your bicthing and get over yourself and respect the kind of effort it takes to be successful. AND I DON'T JUST LISTENING TO POP I HAPPEN TO LIKE ALL MUSIC AND I RESPECT ANY ARITIST BECASUE THIS SHOW HAS TAUGHT ME THAT EVERYONE HAS TO WORK HARD TO GET TO THE TOP.SO DON'T SAY I AM A POP LOVER! THANX

O-town? Oh no! SO here we are with this fat millionair guy in Florida who auditions these guys and picks four of them to start this lousy boy-band. What about the Goo Goo Dools, who worked for 10 years to get to where they are now?? Anyway, here are these four guys torn between family and fame. Some of them didn't want to leave their girlfriends, others didn't like the negotiations for the band. In the end, it's all the same. Another crap reality show about making a one-hit-wonder.

Making The Band was a pretty bad attempt to make another reality show. Unless you are totally obsessed with the music band or singer on the show, you will not find any enjoyment in it, and because all of the singers on it haven't been introduced to the public, you can't enjoy it.

Great. Just what the world needs: another manufactured boy band. Why in the world would anyone care or want to watch these puppets behind the scenes? Enough is enough. Boy bands already pollute radio airwaves and they aren't needed on television where so much other crap already exists.

It was just funny how the producer was desperate to look for another band. It was really corny. But it was still amusing, cause they had cute girlfriends. I liked mostly how they brought them becauase they were cute. But then I thought that the manager was screwing over their money.

This TV show brings to light how manipulative music industry executives are when they are in their pursuit of money. They got these young, impressionable teen (early twenties) kids and brainwash them and play mind games to control them (they often play the good cop, bad cop). The show points out the need in the music industry for justice. These kids, and other musicians, need legal representation when signing contracts so they don't get completely silenced in their blinding pursuit of fame. It's sickening to think of how that executive portrays music, like it's something that can be mass produced. He takes the soul of the music and reduces it to a McDonald's franchise.

I don't know how I ended up watching this show. Nice excuse but I admit I did watch one episode I was laughing out loud the whole time. These teenage boys who want nothing more than to be the next N'Sync or Backstreet boys, I don't really understand why, come together and try out for the band. They hug a lot and talk about their feelings. They are bigger girls than I am. The episode I watched was the one where the final cut was made. There were a lot of tears and touching going on after the names were choosen. I was embarassed for them. It was more of a comedy than a drama. Just what the music industry and kids need is another cheesy boy band.
