One of the funniest family sitcoms ever. Great cast that works very well together, brilliant writing as well. I never watched this show when it was originally broadcast and have become a big fan of the show watching the reruns. One of the few shows on t.v. that will make me laugh out loud sometimes. Very creative show.

Our family tunes in to Malcolm in the Middle every week. It is one of the few shows that all of us like to watch.I think the show is very unique. I think that Lois is great. I love the way she deals with her family. All the characters are funny. It would be hard for me to pick a favorite. UPDATE. I think I liked the first few years the best. by the last year the young stars were getting older. they had some good guest stars on as well. Especially Cloris Leachman as grandma Ida.I could see why It had to end last year. kids grow up.

Very well written show. The adults in the show are very dynamic actors. The kids could be better. I like the fact that the parents are still hot for each other and the yard looks like crap. Things are funnier sometimes when you go against the grain.

I love Malcolm In The Middle.. It is my favorite programme... could watch it over and over again.. only if it was on normal or freeview channels more often .. x x

another good show from Fox. the acting is good and funny to watch. however, the show is going downhill just like the simpsons. the show looks like it might end after the current season. oh, well. it was funny while it lasted.

When I first heard about this show, I thought it was for kids; so i never watched it. One night while in the hospital (few channels) I turned it on, (the older shows). This show is definitly the funniest show I've seen and realistic. Married w/children just wasn't too realistic, but malcolm and his brothers, sounds like a bunch of boys (my uncles) having a great time. Now I know why this show won so many awards. I LOVE the mom

at first i didnt think this was very funny but it got better and better. its funny when its others kids but if it was my kids pulling some of that i wouldn't be laughing thats for sure

A stroke of genius. I'm one out of four childern so I know what Malcom's family jungle feels like. Not only is this show funny, but its something you can really relate to. Unfortunatly most of episodes now are not what they used to be.

My wife and I just started watching this show. It is really funny. I knew a family that was just like this when I was growing up, except their were ten of them.

This show is so funny. A silly dad, a controlling mother, 4 kids that are always getting in trouble (Malcolm is the super intelligent one). Everywhere they go they manage to bring trouble with them, sometimes on accident.

Should've got cancelled the first season. The characters are so 2 dimensional and the plots are lame. Plus where are the jokes if this is a so called comedy show. I wish there was a laugh-track so I would know what's so funny?

One of... if not the best comedy in Fox's history. This show is absolutely brilliant. The cast fit so well together and I love the way Malcolm looks at the camera every once in awhile and comments about how his family is so screwed up!

The show is okay. It used to be my favorite show when it first came out, but now it is dumb and boring. I just watch the show when nothing else is on. Some of the episodes entertain me. I was thinking about giving it tow stars.

When it first started, it was funny and original, but now it's yet another loony comedy about a dysfunctional family. And BTW, people are always saying how great the character of Lois is and how she kept the family together. Well I always thought she was a domineering bitch, and that the rest of the famly would get on better without her.

The show looks like horiffically-deformed Leave it to Beaver on some very bad stimulant drug. Perhaps the first sitcom in ages to premiere without either a laugh track OR a live audience, this show is just really weird--and not in a good way. Although it is weird, MITM does not have the high-concept to give the family-sitcom a needed kick in the pants. Instead, it relies on the parents acting awful and the kids breaking all the rules. I ask again, where are the teenagers that actually act good on television? The acting is terrible, the writing is uninspired, and the content does get pretty bad at times.

First, I would spank those brat kids, put them in their rooms, and dump the loser husband. This show is so bad it needs to be thrown out in the trash with the rest of the garbage. WHY does it win awards? Even Frankie Muniz is extremely overrated...a complete snooze...

I think Malcolms mother epitimises the majority of mothers throughout the country. Francis is absolutly hot!!!!! I shows the life of a typical family. The majority of the American sitcoms always seem to have the same ending, an I love you. What a load of rubbish and thats what makes this show great...

A hit and miss kind of show. Fortunately, more hits than misses. When it's on, it's absolutely hilarious. Very creative and very wicked. Anyone with kids can relate to Malcolm. 1000 Times funnier than anything on NBC Must suck (errrrr see) Thursday.

It's okey but I got tired of watching this show. It's not the best. If you want to watch hot people or you think boys are cute, I recommend Paridise Hotel and if you want to watch something funny, watch the Simpsons and Wanda at Large.

This show was really good for about the first two seasons. Then it started getting boring and repetitive, and it seemed like the writers were getting desperate. Also, the characters have changed too much, and not for the better...Malcolm has actually gotten stupider instead of smarter.

Very unique show, and every character is good execpt Louis, who is the meanest bitch ever to Grace God's green earth. I like the way they have different personalities and how there is always a little story involving only on or two of the characters.

Eh, Its ok. Whatever. I can see what they're shooting for, trying to do the whole Simpsons and Family Guy thing, but they end up putting too much of the Disney animal movie quality crap into it. Its a bit pathetic. And the whole outlandish wackiness just looks weak here--It just doesnt seem natural the way it is supposed to in good comedy. The jokes are shallow--I cannot see anyone beyong junior high enjoying this. I cant believe the cancelled Family Guy and let this crap run. I hate Fox. Even the simpsons are barely surviving. Mind you most of the reviewers here are that age, so to you this is not an insult.

This show was hilarious at first but has really started slipping in quality. It's still better than most crap on TV today, but it needs to get back where it started. The dad really acts like too much of an idiot now and it's just too annoying.

I really don't like this show, the comedy is far to simplistic and outlandish for a show with human actors.

Great writing, talented actors, SUCH a good show, absolutely hilarious. Go get the new DVD or video collection, or at least rent it.

Easily one of the funniest TV comedies I've seen in the last forty years! I look forward to every Sunday night. The individual actors are strong and distinctive, but the chemistry among them may be the best part. No matter how outlandish the situation or over-the-top the characteristics, the feeling of family comes through. The direction is impressive, particularly with respect to pacing and timing. Kudos to the producers and writers for keeping the show fresh from one season to the next, adding characters and new situations, keeping up with the real-life growth of the younger actors. And bravo to them for adding touches of sweetness while never losing the humor that drives this program.

So I just got finished watching the entire first season straight through. Yup. That's right. I generally can't sit through a three-hour movie, but I somehow managed to watch 18 back-to-back Malcom episodes. I guess that means I think the show is pretty super, which it is. Check it out, if you haven't. Take my word for it.

This show is intelligent, hilarious, it appeals to both kids and their parents. The only white tv parents who represent me. I only wish I had this show around when my child was younger. I could have really used the comic relief to combat the "mean people suck" police.

This was a terrific show in its first season and nearly as good in its second, but the third season was just an unmitigated disaster. Francis' move to Alaska didn't work very well (creatively either), and the homecoming episode we waited nearly all season for was a shrill and uncomfortable severe disappointment. And now Dewey speaks? Shut him up, shut him up!

Absolutely fantastic comedy show about a normal dysfunctional American family. You have the father who works hard and tries to please his wife, the wife herself gets very stressed out and likes being in control and the typical 4 kids, one who gets sent to military school, another who is a genius, another who wants to do well, but ends up getting into trouble and the adorable youngest one. Very well written and acted. All of the cast are fantastic and make it a very convincing and funny show.

Best comedy on TV today. It's kind of the Simpson's meet Home Improvement with a lot of intelligence thrown in for good measure. Every member of the cast is great. Very funny.

This is the family that everyone either denies that they are or wishes they can be. This is one of the funniest shows i have ever seen and i love it. i hope it is around for a real long time

MALCOLM IS MINE!!!!!MY WHOLE FAMILY LOVES THE SHOW. Funny show about four brothers. Francis, oldest, Resse, second oldest, Malcolm, the middle child (the hot one in my opinion), and Dewey the youngest. Malcolm is really smart unlike Resse. Francis is away at military school causing and starting trouble there and it home. It's about how Malcolm deals with his crazy and family and school. Highly entertaining comedy. The mom's character on the show reminds me of my poor mom when I was growing up - doing everything she could just to cope with being
