Worst lyric in history from Bed of Roses:  "With an iron-clad fist, I wake up and french kiss the morning". Why can't they just go away?

Glam metal band that's actually not even metal. I would put it in another "pop rock" catergory. How they are still able to be popular when their music stinks is beyond me.

This is especially live one of the greatest bands...ever. See what they've sold all over the world, see how many big concerts they gave. They started in 1983 and now 26 years later they still on the top. Next year 10!!! concerts in the O2 arena in London. Who is better??? Listen to the last CD and I think this is what Rock is still about, great voice, great guitar, great drums, perfect melodies...

If you have ever been to a concert of theirs you know how great they are. If not how about the fact that they have been one of the few 80s acts that are still relevant and still worth a listen after 25 years.

I give Bon Jovi credit for being, with the exception of the heavier Metallica, the only 80's band that was considered a hair band or pop metal to still be able to consistently sell records to this day. However, I find their music very safe and at times boring. Their songs are usually catchy enough but fail to inject much excitement in me.

Lasted far longer than anyone would have expected, probably attributable to fairly middle of the road appeal and the ability to attract a loyal female fan base.  Essentially a pop band in hard rock trappngs.

There are few bands who so fittingly represent the worst ever decade for rock, the 1980s. Bon Jovi are everything that was was p*ss poor about music then - the big hair, the anthems, the cliched lyrics, the posturing, the clothes. Feck they were dire. A life sentence in Sing Sing's too good for this lot.

Among the best bands of the 1980s, with a score of love songs too often overlooked but of undeniably high quality-- including "Always" and "I'll Be There for You." Great band.

I don't know what to give Bon Jovi. I am honestly stuck. Whenever I think of them, all I can think about is how crap they are and how much I dislike them. Whenever someone hums or sings 'Livin' on a Prayer', I want to rip their eyeballs out of their sockets, and (more usefully) their vocal chords out of their throats (if this is possible). But when I actually listen to a Bon Jovi album or compilation, I actually think to myself, 'They're really not half bad; I don't know why I hate them so much'. Help!

hey all!! For all those who say Bon Jovi sucks...wat the hell is wrong with you?? Theyre music rocks!! they are the best band 2 crank up loud and sing at the top of your lungs to!! They have lasted all this time, and still kept true. They are totally awesome, and to those who cant register theyre brilliance; for those with miniscule brains and no musical appreciation, go $#%# urself...I'm sick of people who jam 2 rnb. How can u listen 2 that when you have legends like Bon Jovi arround?? Go Bon Jovi!! Go Richie!! Go Tici Torres!! Go all you fans who have stayed true!!

Bon Jovi has stood the test of time better than the other 80's bands! They keep comin' out with new material that is all their own- no matter what seems to be hip right now.. GOOD FOR THEM FOR STICKIN' TO THEIR OWN STYLE OF MUSIC!! Thank God!!

Slippery when Wet is the only cd i have of theirs. I did go to see them a couple of years ago with some friends and they did put on a good show. They are very lively performers. But I doubt I'd go again. They're okay though.

Yes this is a great rock album, finnaly they've done it! Ten years later... To those who are here to just say bad things about the band, i just say to them, f*** you, clean your ears... How can you just dislike the product, if you didnt test it... Stupid people, like you, should just disapeer from the face of the earth! You are the kind of people that say things without knowing really why...

John Bon Jovi is nice looking and has a gret personality. His musical talents however are non existent! He has no edge or creativity, and the lyrics of his latest song are laughable! No true fan of rock is gonna jam to Have a nice Day ! He can,t sing , he can,t dance get off the #%$* stage, no talent hack! Perhaps him and Madonna can collaborate on an album. Madonna can sing about American life and Mocha choca lattes, while Bon Jovi can sing about living on his prayers and telling people to have a nice day! Give us all a break, and retire , Bon Jovi SUCKS!

I like Bon Jovi better as a cheesy promoter for a failed presidential candidate (all due respect to Senator Kerry) than a cheesy bubblegum kiddie rocker. I give props to Senator Kerry for bowing out when he knew the show was over (so to speak). Bon Jovi, the 80's are decades ago. The clock has struck its 16th minute. Now all you Bon Jovi fans get in your camaros, don those stonewash jeans with the knee missing for good measure, get a box of kleenex and sing your favorite Bon Jovi powerballad (how stupid). I am convinced Bon Jovi must be swedish for Been Joking. I acknowledge that was a lame cut, but hey, I put more thought into that lame cut than Mr. Jovi does with his material. Not to mention sign-in names here but in reference to somebody's you have no clue what is wrong with you people (whoever you are). I simply think you have no clue. But hey, this is the season of miracles so you still have hope.

Once again I will say it. BON JOVI IS AWESOME!!!!!! I have no clue what is wrong with you people, Bon Jovi is (like I said before) a very talented band. They make the best rythms, the vocals are beautiful/awesome, Sambora is the best guitarist I know, David Bryan is an AWESOME keyboard player, Jon himself is an AWESOME singer and of course Sambora is also an AWESOME singer. of course you have Tico Torres who is once again AWESOME! You people cant say any band sucks because they have alot of courage to get on a stage and sing in front of hundreds of thousands (or millions) of faces. And believe me, THEY WILL NOT GIVE UP, I know they will keep up the good work and have fun while doing it. so you people can't say he sucks cus he's one of the best. HAVE A NICE DAY, OVER AND OUT!!!

One of the greatest groups we must accept. No place for dirty arguments. Wonderful songs, marvelous John's vocal, and truly positive energetic predisposition of the group cultivates the best keen feelings of the human being. If you are in deep depression just listen some of his outstanding hits Runaway, Its my life, Everyday, Bounce In these arms or ballads Bed of Roses, Sante Fe, Always, Wild is the Wind Ill be there for you, This aint a love song, Never say Goodbye and you feel yourself much much better or even recover. All their songs are genuine, strikingly beautiful, and breathtakingly performed. LOVE and RESPECT THEM!!!!

Bon Jovi is just the greatest RockBand ever. They play their music with soul, heart and not just 'cause of the money. Their lyrics are something unique and the same goes for the music and the melodies. I hate that people who talks without knowing a thing about them. They're just the best and nothing or no one on earth can change that. Sorry poor loosers, they'll never give up, thank God...

C'mon, naysayers- I know they're no Led Zeppelin, but any band who survived the pop metal 80's and have continued to write good material and update themselves both in musical style and outward appearance to maintain popularity in today's fickle music world is alright by me. I'm glad they have persevered. Look at the bands from the same genre/era who for all intensive purposes have disappeared save a summer tour here and there: Motley Crue, Ratt, Dokken, Poison, Warrant, Cinderella? In my opinion, GONE!The only thing that Bon Jovi ever lost in all these years was their original bassist, Alec Jon Such...we've been treated to and handful of fine solo efforts by both Bon Jovi & Sambora as well (Stranger In This Town is highly underrated and an amazing debut effort.
