This is kind of an odd issue where Obama actually comes off as more hawkish than not only McCain, but Bush. He did not feel that the promises being made by North Korea in the talks warranted the immediate removal from the list until there was actual evidence of a change of policy. It isn't technically a flip flop because he changed his mind when the evidence became apparent. But it is one of those small moments that McCain might make to show Obama is an amateur. Or Obama can argue that he was simply fulfilling his role as loyal opposition to make sure the right questions were being asked. Either way, the anti-Obama people are stretching on this one.
