08/03/2008 | Ah yes, the old liberal mainstay, global warming. Merciful heavens, we have no time to lose here!!! Just ask the reknowned scientist Al Gore. McCain gains votes by deftly (somehow) straddling the issue, having agreed with the crazies for awhile and quietly coming to his senses. He should gradually call Obama out on this issue and expose his irresponsible stance on the Kyoto Protocol/Treaty, and the relative responsibilities of China, India and Russia compared to the inevitable skewering of the US economy. It won't play well in Peoria.

08/02/2008 | It may be that McCain will burn his fellow Republicans on the issue once he's elected, as Schwarzenegger has. And that's to his credit as it will eventually become an emergency situation. But that's the point. We don't have time for pandering and half-solutions.
