The Huck in Tom Sawyer is a very different character from the one in Huckleberry Finn.

The first is a kind of comedic relief, barely developed beyond a few lines and a description. As such, worth about 2 stars.

The character in Huckleberry Finn is a work of genius. A naif who observed the world with unintentionally sardonic innocence, and is a vehicle for Twains commentary.
